Directed by Kent Chan & Lim How Ngean, Pointe Aside is an accidental documentary pieced together by random footage shot during a dance exchange where Asian and European dancers spent 19 days in Lisbon. Disregarding conventional narrative structures, the documentary puts the audience through experiences similar to the dancers as it observes the process of art making as the dancers navigate the chaos around them.
